Myakka City Grill: A Culinary Gem in Myakka City, FL

Great little place on the way to the park! We ordered friend green tomatoes and they came out in little vintage plates. The service was awesome and we enjoyed our food. My husband tried a Cuban sandwich for his first time ever here and he’s been wanting to get another one ever since. We love this place!

Stopped here after riding through Myakka State Park. The burger was good. Not exactly my order but close enough. The sweet potato fries were good. Cool inside, the weather was nice so we enjoyed the side deck. Nice water dish for the dog.

Didn't know what to expect, but this is the closest restaurant to where we were staying for my birthday weekend. Omg the food was DELICIOUS. Sweet potato fries were amazing and the chicken wrap was fantastic too. My husband is a super picky eater and he loved his burger. We will definitely stop here whenever we are in the area!

Absolutely love this place! Walked in for the first time, very friendly staff and welcoming customers as well. Went for lunch and my gosh was blown away by the tastes, definitely a new favorite place. We ordered appetizers of fried mushrooms and loaded cowboy fries both were amazing, my mom ordered the Philly cheese steak with Mac and cheese, the sandwich was perfect and loaded thick, I ordered chicken tenders and onion rings, the chicken tender meat was pretty good quality and the onion rings were amazing especially paired with the sauce. All around great experience and will definitely be going back.

It seemed like 4 teenagers were operating the restaurant. The 4 were all polite and kind, though. The food took 35 minutes to come out. My fries were cold, my burger bun was cold, and my burger was lukewarm. My burger came out well done when I requested medium rare. There are not a lot of food options in this area but the current rating of 4.6 is certainly not accurate. Rating 3 for each food, service, and atmosphere.

We went here for lunch with local friends after visiting Myakka Elephant Ranch and we had a great lunch. Unassuming from the outside, they really have incredible food and drinks including the best pink lemonade I've ever had. Whether it was a salad (delicious), wings, fries, Mac and cheese or a sandwich, our large group was pleased. The entire restaurant is spacious and wheelchair accessible and when not too busy, they do not rush you. The staff is the kindest and most helpful, too.

Very interesting setup, don't be put off by the outside decor, the food is definitely worth the visit, large portions and very tasty. If your in the area check it out.

The burger was great. Cooked to perfection. No waitress.. we sat on booths and then went to to bar counter and ordered. The cook brought us food. Only budweiser beer.. s a d 2 of us ate $38.00. .. with 3 beers.. ok i guess
